Homam

Cast: Jagapathi Babu, JD Chakravarthy, Mamata Mohan Das, Madhurima, Pradeep Rawat, Mahesh Manjrekar, MS Narayana, Krishna Bhagwan, Sakhi shivanand, Ahuti Prasad, Prabhakar and others.
Music: Nitin Raikwar
Director: JD Chakravarthy
Producer: Kiran kumar Koneru
HOMAM is an action packed entertainer which is scraped from the Hollywood movie ‘The Departed’. The script has been treated differently and some new life is added to the old story.

Homam Story
The story begins with the initiative of two different young men with dissimilar frame of minds. Mallikarajun (Jagapathi Babu) has a dream to become a police officer and another person named Chandrashekar (JD Chakravarthy) is against the police and their autocracies.
Malli has a background that he is a son of a unlawful person. So while he is taking training for the selection into police department, this truth is witnessed by the officers and he looses the spot to get selected into the police department. The reason for Chandu’s hatred against the police is due to the point that hi father is killed in an encounter by the cops.
Seeing the fire to become the police cop in the eyes of Malli, Vishwanatham (Pradeep rawat) appoints him as a police cop working under cover after giving him the necessary training.
Chandu is groomed well by Jawahar alias daddy (Mahesh Manjrekar) and is sent into the police department as an informer to the criminals. Since he hates the police department, Jawahar makes him a pawn of criminals in the disguise of a cop.
Meanwhile, Malli is assigned a duty to trace out the criminals in Jawahar’s gang and he joins them as a member of the gang.
Malli sincerely does his duty and informs the cops about Jawahar and his moments. This is discovered by jawahar and the hunt to outline out the offender in the gang starts.
The love track runs simultaneously for Malli as Dr. Lakshmi (Mamta) and a pretty girl Satya (Madhurima) fall for the two heroes.
Who ends whom? And what happens to the two heroes is the conclusion which has to be seen on the big screen.
Homam Performances
Jagapathi as an action packed hero does his best to suit the role. His rough looks on his face are apt for his role and his punching dialogue delivery captures the minds of the audience.
JD eases into his role and acts naturally as a cop and also as an informer to the criminals.
Mamta Mohan Das is limited to the songs and a scene. Her rain son with Jagapathi is worth appraisable as her body beauty is well capitalized in the song. She looks awesome in a blue sari.
Madhurima gets a petite role and is like a glam doll to JD.
Pradeep Rawat has done his cop role very well. His villainous character till date in the Telugu films was choked with the strict officer role in this film.
Mahesh Manjrekar gives his 100% to the film.
The comedy track lead by MS and Bhagwan is not up to the mark. It manages to raise some tickles.
Sakshi Sivanand is seen in an items song. It is noteworthy that mass audience will peep into the theatres only for Mamta’s skin show and Sakshi’s latkas and Jhatkas.
The film ends on a happy note as Jagapathi is appointed to work as an under cover cop in Pakistan to nab dreaded criminal Dawood Ibrahim.
On the whole this is a film for action lovers with all mind games of gangsters and cops. It cannot be seen with the family and so may last only for 3 weeks

Takkari

Takkari is a hit film and is of different story.
Cast : Nitin, Sada, Shiviji Shinde , Raghu babu,Chandramohan,Venu madhav, AliDirector is Amma Rajshaker
Story
Tirupathi{nitin} is the son of chandramohan. Chandramohan has two sons and Nitin is the eldest of them. Tirupathi’s is passing his time with his friends and always sits idle without doing any professional work. He keeps on pestering his father to give him 1 lakh rupees so that he can start a small business. But his father refuses him as their are financially week and chandramohan thinks that his son is going to waste the money if at all he arranges it .
Meanwhile one fine day tirupathi { nitin} falls in love with the heroine Priya which is well played by Sada. Priya is a sister to a rich brother guru { shiyaji shinde}. Guru comes to know about the affair and he panics first then he thinks of a idea. He calls Tirupathi and offers him 25 lakhs and in return asks tirupathi to forget his love towards his sister. Here comes the twist as tirupathi accepts the money and tells to guru that he will forget his love towards guru’s sister. The hero then purchases some 10 acres land and starts a business. He again goes to guru and asks him more 10 lakhs for telling the heroine priya directly that he is no longer in love with her. She is shocked when she comes to know the entire story, which happened. Then tirupathi becomes a big business magnet within no time.
The remaining story revolves around how he convinces guru and marries his sister priya after clearing all the misunderstanding.
Performances of the Characters
Tirupathi’s is the character which is played by Nitin . Nitin with his boyish looks and charm steals the heart of female fans. He danced well and his well-toned body makes him even more handsome and charming.
Priya character, which is played by sada, is also well justified. She as usual is there only to show her skin and to dance. But she did all these well with ease. Guru is the character played by Shiyaji Shinde. He is perfect for the character and acts well as a brother and as a villain. He again proves his mettle in acting and also is a highlight to the movie. In Pokiri as a police officer and as a villain in Takkari he seems to be improving a lot and is establishing himself as a full fledged artist day by day in tollywood.. Ali and Venu Madhav add the comic flavor to this picture and also Raghu Babu with his acting makes the audience laugh some times.
The music, which is composed by chakri, is good and three songs in the film attract the audience. And the dance steps done by Nitin and Sada also add up to the films success.
Amma rajshaker also jusitified his direction skills as a director to this film. His way of presenting the movie is appreciable. But the slow moment of the story in first half is a negative point, which has to be mentioned. But is justified as the story needs some narration. This picture is well churned with Comedy, Romance, Action, Love and also sentiment. On the whole makes a good story and is going to be a hit movie in Nitin’s career.

Don

Cast: Nagarjuna, Anushka, Raghava Lawrence, Kelly Dorjee
[ Lara Dutta fiancée] and others.
Producer: ML Kumar Chowdary
Direction, Screen Play & Music: Raghava Lawrence
Don lives up to its expectations. The hard work of the hero, director and the heroine and the entire crew has paid off. This Don is different from expectations and has some refreshing story twists and taking.
On the whole this is a neat and full family entertainer which can be watched with the entire family except for two scenes where Anushka is Sexplosive.
Don Story
Surya [Nagarjuna] is an orphan who doesn’t even know who is parents are and at least how they look like. He rescues some street children from the clutches of a drug peddler. One of them happens to be Raghva Lawrence. They all become his followers and as Surya grows he grows up to become a Don.Raghva assist the don in his work and in turn Surya treats Raghva as his younger brother. There is a difference in the portrayal of this film Don. Unlike other don’s who are features bad guys in the films, this Don is a soft natured, honest and caring for everyone guy. He assists the people in distress and ensures that everybody is happy under his ruling.
Then the entry of the villain takes place ., his name is Stephen (Kelly doorjee) who is an international famed DON and after expanding his so called mafia kingdom in every state he eyes on Andhra Pradesh.
He approaches Surya and lures him to join him as a partner. But Surya understands the evil intentions of the Stephen and refuses him. This makes Stephen miffed up on the DON and his anger sets him to eliminate Surya and sets up a trap to kill him and expand his mafia empire in the AP.
The rest of the story revolves how Surya shields himself from Stephen and how he eliminates Stephen and saves the Andhra Pradesh and his followers. The climax is very interesting and must be watched on the silver screen
Performances
Yuvasamrat Nagarjuna has performed as Surya the DON and looks very stylish with his lavish costumes. He justifies his part well and has done a good work. The character of his has been properly carved keeping in mind about his image. His dances and his expressions and of course his action skills is a sure to watch and highlight of this movie.
Raghava Lawrence on the other hand looks good in Direction and acting department and also as usual his dance talent is very well exposed. He manages to ignite some comedy and also manages to extract some laughter from the audience with some situational comedy. But in the second part he dominates the movie and overshadows the hero.
The villain is perfectly apt and the director has done a good job by not casting any of the usual villains. Kelly is making his debut in Telugu industry and will be marrying bollywood beauty Lara Dutta in his real life in the month of March next year. He has justified his character.Anushka plays her usual glam doll role exposing her assets in required intervals. Her role is quiet limited but sizzles and once again gives a visual treat for the male audience with her toned body. The rest of the cast is apt for their roles and have done a good job.
Music for this film is good which is composed by Raghava Lawrence himself. In the song “Don Anna, Don Anna” the dancing talent of Lawrence has been exposed . And coming to the duets Nag and Anushka sizzle on the screen with the song Muddepettu …Muddepettu in which she literally kisses Nagarjuna nearly 30 times and more.
The fights are fast paced and are shot like in the Hollywood film matrix style and the violence is well controlled. The film runs slowly in the first half and runs like a train in the second half as if to complete the film very quickly.

vaana

Vaana-reviewStarring: Vinay, Meera Chopra, Jayasudha, Suman ,Naresh ,SeethaDirector: MS RajuMusic: KamalakarProducer: MS Raju
Ms Raju, who is now termed as Maha Sankranthi Raju , has done a good job ,both in the direction and the production department and has given a neat movie to his audience. Though the movie gist has some outdated look, but still will find a way to the success.Story:
Vinay is the only son of rich parents Jayasudha and Naresh. Vinay’s only aim in the life is enjoy the comforts and luxury provided by his businessman father, Naresh.
One day he incidentally comes across a beautiful girl Meera Chopra at a shopping Mall. Drooling over her gorgeous beauty, vinay accidently falls into a man hole, and is rescued by Meera . Meanwhile in the whole confusion the heroine (meera) forgets her newly purchased watch.
When rescued by the heroine, the hero whose face is already covered with Drainage water could not leave a heroic mark in the heart of the heroine.
One day Vinay tries to get in touch with the heroine through a radio program but it goes in vain.
Incidentally, Vinay comes across the heroine, while he and his mother are in a way to a marriage, but unfortunately the heroine does not recognize the hero as his face is covered with engine oil.
Vinay and his mother, jayasudha reach Suman’s house and there vinay come s to know that Meera is the daughter of Suman , a retired army colonel and Seetha.
Unfortunately, vinay also learns that meera’s marriage is already fixed and will be performed in a fort night. But still the hero succeeds in making the heroine fall in love with him. Meera , with neck deep in love with the hero suggests to elope ,with two days to go for the marriage.
At this stage, meera‘s mother Seetha learns that her daughter is about to elope with her lover and pleads the hero, vinay to make her daughter not to take such a haste decision.
Vinay ‘s mother Jayasudha also comes to know the truth that her son is the lover of meera and stops him from doing so .
Meanwhile heroine Meera is very much worried about her love as the marriage date is fast approaching, and in the climax with only 5 hours left for the marriage hero take a decision?
What is the decision and what is the end of the movie Vaana , must be watched on the big screen.Performance
Newcomer Vinay has a good physique and has tried his best to be apt as perfect lover in this film. His looks is little macho, but still can be a perfect face as a young lover boy.
Meera Chopra is gorgeous in the costumes and with her looks. She is portrayed as a goergeous beauty in this film and especially looks sexy in a red hot costume in the song Vunnatta Leenatta . Her looks are a replica of Simran and also her bosom and waist make every male fan of her, drool for. Her bubbly action makes us to think that she is exactly a carbon copy of Genelia, in acting of course.
Suman, as a retired army officer has done a good job. He suits the character with perfect ness and ease. Jayasudha has given a 100% performance in the film.
Music of the film and the cinematography is applaudable. The natural locales around Banglore and the rain scenes have been shot perfectly.
Comedy track with Dharamavarapu and Ms Narayana are up to average.
Prabhu Deva and Sunil appear in the first song and also manage to do some dance steps.
Ms Raju as usual, appears in one of the sequences like a farmer driving a Tractor, loaded with Hay.
The hero is accompanied with a white rabbit name Devadas and is like a supporting artist to the hero character.
The film is a carbon copy of Kannda super hit Munguru Malle.
Ms Raju has added some Telugu flavor to the film and has carved it well.
On the whole this film looks same as ordinary as most of the films with a love story subject has been in the recent past.
The tagline to the film Vaana- Prema Madhuram, Tyagam Amaram is apt to the title.

Swagatham
Starring: Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika, Ansuhka, Arjun,Dharmavarapu, Ali, Venu Madhav, Jayaprakash Reddy,LB Sriram, ETV Prabhakar, Kondavalasa, Jhansi,Radhakumari and others.
Director: DasarathProducer: Adithya RamThe film is a quite refreshing as far as the movie concept is concerned. The story and its concept is not new to Tollywood audience , but the new and innovative presentation of this movie makes it special and also no scope for violence, Skin Show add Swagatham to the neat and pure film genre. Dasarath already made his mark with his previous movie Santhosham which was released a few years back. That movie was also neatly taken with now scope for violence and vulgarity. Swagatham is also expected to become successful in the same way as Santosham.
StoryJagapathi babu is a big business tycoon as he runs a garment company that is worth of almost 100 crore. The problem of Jagapathi babu’s character is that he has an attitude problem and his discipline and punctuality rules in his office make his employees call him Ravana.
Jagapathi Babu’s Grandmother Radha kumnari has only one worry and that too getting her grandson married and when she approached jagapathi with a marriage proposal he immediately rejects every proposal brought by her.
However by taking a wise decision, Radhakumari approaches a marriage bureau which is run by Bhumika Chawla. Bhumika understands jagapathi’s problem and arranges a matrimonial match for him. Meanwhile, due to Bhumika’s nature, jagapathi starts to mend his attitude problem.
Bhumika arranges an engagement ceremony, so that the bride and the bridegroom may meet and make themselves aware of each other. However in the process of marriage alliance for Jagapathi babu, Bhumika falls in love with Jagapathi Babu.
With some more twists the two fall in love and marry each other and are blessed with a child. At this time, a tragedy strikes the happy family as bhumika is diagnosed with Chronic Leukemia and is only left with some days to live. As this disease is not curable , Bhumika out of over precautious and worry leaves her daughter with jagapathi babu in India and flies to America.
The first half of the film is about the present reel life and the second half revolves around the flashback of the hero and heroine.
Second starts with the sequence of Cut the present and follows Jagapathi babu who is actually in America to mend the problems of his friend and cousin Arjun. Arjun is a married man to Anushka’s siter and unfortunately Anu’s siter dies in a car accident and Anushka thinks that it is all due to her brother in law’s negligence.
But Jagapathi babu interferes and clears all the misunderstanding and finally Arjun is united with his son.
The climax of the film ends with Arjun’s reunion with his son and Anushka’ replaces Bhumika’s place and marries jagapathi babu.
PerformancesJagapathi as usual has given his 100 percent performance to the film. He succeeded in achieving what the director wanted from him and is also looking younger and handsome in this film and in casual outfits.
Anushka who fits into the glam doll roll is perfectly apt to the character weaved in the film. Her only job is to pop in between and show her skin and dance with the hero .she once again displays her assets and her sexy figure in revealing outfits is a highlight in the film.
Bhumika is very impressive. Though she makes an entry only in the second half her presence makes us feel as if she is the main lead in the film.
Arjun is a surprise element in the film with a short character of a doctor and a friend to the hero very well.
Radha kkumari who played the character of jagapathi’s grandmother is perfect for the character and has well acted in her scenes.
Dharmavarapu, Ali, Venu Madhav, Jayaprakash Reddy, LB Sriram, ETV Prabhakar, Kondavalasa, Jhansi are the bunch of comedians in this film who try to churn out some comedy is average. Dharmavarapu who acts as a producer in the film, and who calls reputed directors like Vv Vinayak and pesters them with his boring Stories. This comedy sequence brings some tickles in the audience faces.
It is Ravi babu who succeeds to some extent with his role of Homosexual. His dialogue “Map Vesi Choopinchana brings some loud laughter’s from some mass section n of audience.
The music of the film is below average and the cinematography is appraisable.
On the whole this movie is a slow pace movie and is filled with sentiment; but is well carved without any scope for violence or vulgarity.
But this movie may only last for a couple of weeks.

ontari

Cast: Gopichand, Bhavana, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sunil, Ali, Naresh,Raghu Babu, Shayaji Shinde, and others .Direction: RamanaMusic: Manisharma
Rating : 3.2/5
Director Ramana gives a good account of himself with his debut film. The film offers everything from love, Drama, Family sentiment to comedy and action. However, the violence element in this film has gone beyond the limit and looks little bit high in contentStory
Gopichand is the youngest of the three sons of Paruchuri Ventkateswar Rao who hails a big and happy family. Parchuri runs a textile business showroom in Vishakapatnam and Gopichand is the only younger sibling who is still a bachelor. His brothers are happily married and are settled in marriage bliss.
Gopichand who is young and energetic has two close friends Sunil and Rajiv Kanakala. Rajiv Kanakala is an MLA .
One day Gopichand incident meets Bujji( Bhavana) and falls in love with her . He acts like a CBI officer and meets Bhavana everyday in a beach in the name of interrogation. The reason for interrogating the heroine is that she had run away with 15,000 rupees from Gopichand’s brother Naresh, when he withdraws the amount from the ATM. The reason for the theft is said that a girl was hospitalized and so Bhavana had no choice other than stealing the money from Naresh.
Bhavana’s background I s explained in the next scene, which narrates that she is an orphan and stay’s in a women’s hostel. When Gopichand introduces her to his family, she becomes close to his family members and so his engagement is arranged in Annavaram, with Bhavana.
But unfortunately before the function, one day Ashish Vdhyarthi who plays the villain character in this film and comes to know, that his brother has been beaten black and blue by the hero and the reason for it is that Ashish’s vidhrathi’s brother comments the heroine. And so the villain wants to take the revenge on the hero, and kidnaps Bhavana.
Goipchand is invited to come to a deserted place, where he is beaten and Bhavana is also brutally raped, due to which the heroine dies out of guilt.
Then there the story takes a twist, Gopichand is in a onset mind that the heroine is still living and is with him.
Then the rest of the story is how the hero takes the revenge and how he comes to know that his beloved is already dead. Rajiv Kanakala who is an MLA betrays the hero and joins with the villains.
Then the story takes the route of how the hero all alone takes on the villain which leads to the aptness of the title.
PerformancesGopichand looks apt for the title ONTARI. His characterization from an angry lover boy to an angry young man is sketched and portrayed very well, to which his acting has been supportive. He lives the character rather than just acting. his flame filled eyes with revenge in the second half of the film shows how deeply he is involved. His toned body with muscles looks like an action hero.
Bhavana is refreshing with her performance and also her face. Her western and traditional dresses are well suitable to the heroine and in some scenes depict Trisha. Her assets and curves are well revealed in the movie.
Parchruri , Naresh , Sayaji Shinde , Raghu Babu and others do the justice to their characters.
Manisharma’s music is good and the two songs n the film are peppy and catchy. The rest are average.
Comedy is averagely sketched in the film and all the comedians perform well.
The film will portray Gopichand in a mass role as well as action her.On the whole the film is sure to be watched and will surely run for 50 days.

Idhee SangathiCast: Tabu, Abbas, Raja, Kota Srinivas Rao, Sunil and othersMusic: John P WarkiDirector: Chandra SiddarthaStory
It is hard to believe that Idhe Sangathi is from the same director who made the film Aaa Nalaguru and Madhumasam. There is nothing much in the film, by way of novelty or suspense or even from the side of humor. Even Tabu’s skin show also fails to attract the audience interest. The story seems to be an old story re-written and remade.
Abbas is a crime reporter in a Telugu Daily and Tabu is his beloved wife. Sunil is a photographer with the same daily and Hema is his wife. Tabu and Hema are always dreaming about becoming rich women in the society and think that this will bring them fame and respect along with the money.
Abbas and Sunil go to cover a train accident. Instead of doing their usual duty of covering the whole accident, they start stealing gold ornaments from the dead bodies of the train wreckage. They even manage to steal a couple of suitcases from an AC compartment.
They bring the entire loot to their home. Abbas does not give the jewelry to his wife and the reason is kept secret. When abbas goes to his office, tabu investigates the suitcase and finds diamonds worth 500 crore. She hides them from her husband.
The news about the missing diamonds spreads like a fire and from the Central Prime Minister to the police officer is on the hunt for the diamonds and the culprit who stole them. The diamonds actually belong to Kota Srinivas rao who plays the character of a Prime Minster.
While the wild goose chase is on, every tries to fox each other when the diamonds are traced out.
Meanwhile tabu hides the diamonds and purchases a luxury bungalow and a expensive car with those diamonds. What happens to Tabu in the end and to the diamonds is suspense which must be seen on the big screen. But all ends well at the end.Performances
The entire film revolves around Tabu and her plans and imaginations. She plays a role of a middleclass housewife and also exhibits her assets well in a sexy dream song and also in some scenes. Her bosom seems to be pumped up in every scene she does and will raise the temperatures of her male fans.
Abbas as a crime reporter has performed well and looks apt to the character. Sunil plays a short and sweet character of a photographer. Raja appears in a cameo.
Kota plays the role of a prime minister, but as his role is not carved well lacks some luster at the end. Ms Narayana, Surya, Chalapathi Rao, hema and others are just normal.
The music of the film is just average and Tabu and Abbas are always seen in dream songs. Raja does an item song.
But the film on the whole is very slow paced and there is not much new for the audience to enjoy. The story is predictable and the climax is very dull and the film on the whole is just average which can be seen once.

Gamyam

Gamyam- above average
Star cast: Sarvanand, Kamalinee Mukherji, Allari Naresh, Ms. Narayana, Giri Babu and others
Director: Radha Krishna
Music: R. Anil and ES Murthy
Story
The film Gamyam comes as a ray of hope that Tollywood Industry is going in the positive way and will live to an extent in the year 2008. This year till date, we have been witnessing a series off flops from big stars like Balakrishna to Nagarjuna to small stars like Gopichand and Raja. Except for Krishna which was an average flick, all the other films were huge flops at the box office.
Gamyam the movie starts wit the story of a rich Guy Abhiram (Sarvanand). He is the younger sibling in the house and has grown up as a spoilt brat in the house. He is a son of a rich industrialist who has innumerable Riches and properties. As is the case with many rich people, Abhiram has also a bug in his mind that poor and middle classed people are ill mannered and are bad natured. So Abhiram never mingles with people who are not up to his mark in the riches. At this time, he comes across a beautiful girl named Janaki (Kamalinee) . Janaki is an orphan who comes up in life the hard way. She is a doctor by profession and she serves the poor and the less privileged. The two become close and mingle closely. However, Abhiram doesn’t like Janaki’s modest background and her social services. In the same way Janaki also hates Abhiram’s attitude of hating the poor and loving the richer class.
Janaki who becomes vexed with his attitude leaves him and goes away. Abhiram is now desperately in look out for Janaki. Then enter the character named Seenu (Allari Naresh) who is a petty thief. Abhiram due to some incidents comes in contact with Seenu and with his help tries to trace out Janaki. The two search for Janaki on Seenu’s bike.Abhiram finally manages to trace Janaki at a small village where she is serving the poor.
It is here that Abhiram learns the true meaning of life, while his long journey with Seenu makes him understand the lessons of human nature and also the realities inside the lives of the rich and the poor. Finally, Abhiram changes in the climax and all ends in a happy note.
Performance
Sarvanand gives a good account of himself as a rich spoilt brat. It can be concluded that this guy has turned into a serious hero and is improving day by day. This film will definitely give a boost to his career and will also offer good film roles as such, in his coming future.Allari Naresh finally comes up with an outstanding performance. It can be said that, he is the main meaning of the movie. His character of Seenu is well carved and has full scope to entertain the audience and also to give a message. His comic timing is excellent.Kamalinee Mukherji’s role is not very lengthy. She is in the first half for about 158 minutes and then in the second half for 20 minutes. But her role is a need to the movie and also plays a pivotal role in making the audience glued to their seats. She exposes averagely. But truly speaking, she has finally changed a lot. Her beauty, her curves from top to bottom are ravishing and will make the male fans of her drooling over her in their sleep. She is now a full fledged heroine with good dancing skills and expressions. On the whole the film is quite interesting and will entertain the audience very well. Though it seems to be a message oriented in the end, it has been said in a novel and agreeable way. Full credit goes to the director who made this film with small, but good actors. The film is definitely worth watching and will give your every rupee back with its full entertainment. It is a family entertainment movie.

The film has no great performance s to be mentioned. Mumaith Khan does the decent job and her beauty and shapes are not exposes as expected. All the other characters play their usual village characters and the slang of the village people is well maintained.Ali makes a guest appearance in an item song of Mumaith. The music is average and the choreography is normal. The cinematography is also apt for the village based film. The comedy of the film is not up to the mark and the double meaning dialogues are full in the movie. The film has no mass element in the film as the heroine is dressed formally and only her bosom and her naval parts are shown occasionally. She is in Langa Onhi in the max of the film.Director Venky fails in the narration of the story and nothing new is shown in the film. This film is a sure flop and even Mumaith’s name could not save it.

Jalsa

Jasla Review : Jalsa Movie review- HITBanner: Geeta ArtsCast: Pawan Kalyan, Prakash Raj, Mukesh Rishi, Ileana, Parvathi Melton, Kamalinee Mukherji, Brahmanandham, Ali, Sunil, and Shayaji shinde.Direction: Trivikram SrinivasMusic: Devi Sri PrasadProducer: Allu Arvind
Rating :3.5/5
Story
Power Star Pawan Kalyan has come up with a hit this time. The lean patch in his career seems to be over now. This time, Pawan has come up with a total family entertainer which has an amalgamation of Comedy, fights, sentiment, emotions and overall total entertainment and is worth for each penny. Though the second half looks shaped out, the climax still is unpredictable and super entertaining.
The movie starts with the generic voice of Prince Mahesh Babu, who introduces himself as a friend to Pawan Kalyan who plays the character of Sanjay in this movie. Sanjay (Pawan Kalyan) is introduced in the first frame as a boozer who is obsessed with the education. The get –up given to him belongs to this generation, but will make the audience memorize as yesteryears Devdas.
In the illustration for this, Kamalinee Mukherji is introduced as a lover of Pawan Kalyan who has a father which is played by Prakash Raj. Though the narration is brief, but generates a lot of interest and makes us feel as if we are involved in the characters. After this frame in a comic fashion, though it hurts Sanjay (Pawan Kalyan), is zoomed to another scene where the hero Sanjay attends the marriage of Kamalinee Mukherji with another person.
Then the next frame is shown and is marked as after 52 weeks. In this frame Ileana and Parvathi Melton enter the life of Sanjay (Pawan) and the incident is captured with a fighting sequence which highlights the skills of Pawan and makes him a true hero.
Then after this scene, little bit of Comedy is sprinkled for next few minutes and Ileana wins the heart of Sanjay (Pawan) with the help of the noted comedian Sunil. He erupts into the film and generates some comedy and due to his comic touch as well as some heart touching incidents, Ileana and Pawan fall in love.
Meanwhile, the next frame introduces the villain of the film which is played by Mukesh Rishi and is coupled by the comedian cum villain Tanikella Bharani. Mukesh is introduced as a dreaded factionist who never cares any law and any person and almost rules the entire region and clutches it in his fists. Though Mukesh runs his entire evil works from the jail, it looks realistic and also is possible in today’s world. The land takeover scene is well captured in the camera lens.
While Mukesh works on the sidelines, then again the songs, love making scenes and well portrayed scenic location entertain the audience and make them glued to the seats. However on the side track the war against Mukesh and Sanjay (Pawan) is well carved and makes the audience tense that some thing big may strike the hero in the form of the dreaded villain Mukesh Rishi as the hero is totally ignorant about what is happening and about the moves of the villain.
Mukesh Rishi in an incident traces Sanjay (Pawan) and tries to get hold of him, but his actions go in vein as he decides to kill Pawan after making him suffer a hell on earth. Meanwhile, Sanjay is unaware about all this which is cooking behind him and merrier his way.
From then the chase of the hero and the villain begins, but it can be reviewed as only the villain’s chase as the hero is ignorant about the villain and his moves. In a scene Pawan saves Ali, and reveals emotionally that his child hood was a hell and this is due to poverty. But his dialogues and his body language does not suit this variety of heavy loaded senti’s. It makes the audience remember, about his initial stages of his career, like his films “Akkada Ammayi -Ikkada Abbai” which had heavy loaded dialogues in the middle and in the climax.
Then the Interval Break is given Guys, cheer up! Gets some popcorn and cool drinks
The story after the interval start with Pawan starting his childhood saga, as he narrates to his friend how miserable his childhood life was and how he succeeded from his young life to his present age. This also brings on the screen, about his Naxalite life and the reason for joining their organization of Naxalism. Though the reason is well strong in its place, but the story starts to deviate a little bit from its usual entertaining part. Sanjay (Pawan) is also promoted as a commander in chief in the naxals group and to bring some cheer in the audience faces, Mahesh Voice is edited into the narration and this truly brings some relief in the minds of the audience.
Suddenly some group of Naxal’s mob the hero and the reason for it is suspense. Adding to this Prakash Raj also enters the story again as a police officer and what happens in the climax is a suspense which has to be seen on the big silver screen.
Performances
Power Star has given his 100 5 to this film and the fruitful results for his hard work are already ringing at the box office. As usual his dressing style and his costly Pepe jeans wardrobe will be seen on the screen. His shirts and his over-shirts are really a must watch on the silver screen. His powerful dialogue delivery with a punch in it makes us believe that he is truly a big hero for sure.
Coming to the glam dolls, the skin show is mostly done by Wally cleavage Ileana and the ravishing Parvathi Melton. All the costumes worn by them are revealing and super. Especially the black sari worn by Parvathi Melton makes the temperatures in the pants of every male audience soaring as her naval part is so sexy .And last but, not the least Kamalinee Mukherji is also superb in her brief role. Her costumes are a must watch for every young girl and if interested can also be purchased to pep up their Boyfriends and also the society with the latest trend.
Coming to the songs of Devi, they are average and only one song is worth watching which the title song is. May be Manisharma would have done more justice for this movies script.
Trivikram Srinivas has done a good job. The script part is also well woven and is apt for Pawan. The choreography is done very well.
Overall this film is like a breezer in this summer and Pawan with his wholesome family entertainer has won all his fans hearts again.
This film will surely run towards 100 days and even it can cross the 150 days mark with the help of Pawan’s Fans.

Sawaal

Sawaal movie reviewCast: Bharath, Suhani, Sayaji shinde, Brahmanandham, Kovai Sarala, Ms Narayana, Raghu Babu, Ali and others.Direction: B. JayaMusic: Jessie Gift
‘Sawaal’ opens up on a good note, but its sluggish second half and the climax makes it a boring flick which is not at all a worth to watch. This film is directed by a woman director named Jaya, who gives her 100 % to the film, but still the story line falls flat at the end.Story
Tirupathi (Bharath) is an orphan boy who is raised in a slum which has some kind hearted dwellers in it. The hero makes a living by selling the movie tickets in black and the sequence of selling the movie tickets looks realistic. Tirupathi is a kind hearted guy, but turns out against evil in a violent way. Seeing Tirupathi’s sincerity, Shayaji Shinde, who plays the role of a police officer in this film hires him as a police informer and finds out the drug peddlers, cheap liquor brewers and fake currency note dealers prevailing in the society and in the slum. Sayaji in an incident realizes that all these crimes are shielded by a Minister and tries to corner him.
Suhani, who plays the role of a spoilt and short tempered girl, is introduced to the audience. Fortunately, she hails from a family with a strong financial background. Incidentally, the hero Tirupathi and Suhani meet under some unpleasant circumstances and start to hate each other terribly
Meanwhile, Shayaji gets a promotion as an Assistant commissioner of Police and gives a friend’s party in which Tirupathi is also invited. However, under the influence of alcohol, Sayaji challenges the hero that an uneducated guy like him who is under the poverty line cannot win the heart of a high class girl. Adding to this Sayaji also challenges Tirupathi to make his daughter say “I Love You” in a span of 30 days and if Tirupathi succeeds he will get a gift of 10 lakhs.
Tirupathi accepts his challenge which is the title of the film SAWAAL. To the surprise of Tirupathi, the girl is none other than the short tempered and ill mannered girl Suhani. The rest of the story is how the hero wins Suhani’s heart? And how they fall in love?
But all is not over when Suhani proposes to Bharath, the director drags in the role of the corrupt minister who is a master of all illegal activities and another Sawaal starts between the hero and the villain.
Finally, at last the film ends on a happy note and the hero wins 10 lakhs cash and the heart of Suhani.Performance
Bharath has turned on as a full fledged hero with this film a looks more matured in this film than his previous film titled “10th Class”. He gave his 100% to the film, but still needs to improve a bit in his dialogue delivery and also in giving the apt expressions to the said dialogues.
Suhani, who is just in her teens, has managed well the glam doll role. She has no inhibitions in wearing skimpy clothes and showing her assets on the top and the bottom. But surely, in accordance with the male thinking she should still built her bosom and her hips a lot. She looks so childish in some scenes. But manages well with the dialogues and expressions.
Sayaji shinde once again plays a police officer role. In ‘Pokiri’ he played a similar role who is against crime and in this film also to some extent justified his character.
The comedy track looks dry as Brahmanandham and kovai sarala try to make the audience laugh, but only mage to tickle the audience. They play the character of a reporter and a TV anchor respectively. Ms Narayana makes his entry as five Star Solomon Raju and Raghu Babu gives a good performance. Ali plays a role of a god man and mages some meaty dialogues.
Coming to the director Jaya, she tried her best to attract the mass audience by adding a item song with Abhinayashri in the beginning of the film and then another item song with the hot Mumaith. But the songs are not so peppy and are not up to the expectation.
On the whole this film will just live up to 2 weeks and then it will fade as time passes. But it is sure to get the investments to the producer.

Balle dongalu

Cast: Tarun, Ileana, Jagapathi Babu,Pradeep Rawat, Brahmanandham and others
Director: Vijay Bhasker
Music: Radhakrishnan
Producer: Belamkonda Suresh
Initially the combination of Ileana and Tarun which was for the first time ignited some interest in the movie and the direction of Vijay Bhasker was an added delight to this movie. Tarun and Vijaya Bhasker previously were coupled to give a hit like “Nuvve Kavali”. But this time the entire combination of the trio could not live up to the expectation. Only it can be termed as an average movie with all the masala stuff included in it.
Story
The story is about two youngsters with the character names of Ram or Romeo and Jyothi or Juliet. These two characters are played by Tarun and Ileana. These two youngsters run away from their respective homes located near Vishakapatnam. Tarun runs away from his dwelling as he is forced to work by his father Chandramohan in a paper mill. Ileana on the other hand unable to bear the emotional blackmail of her grandmother Annapurna to marry decides to leave her home. She has a dream to become a top model in the advertising field.Fortunately the hero and the heroine board the same train and land up in the railway station of Vishakapatnam. As expected they two meet each other and since they are penniless, but filled with the energy to fulfill their dreams; start to cheat some innocent people. And to their luck they succeed in piling up a good amount. Soon they get the thought to continue this job and depart to Hyderabad together. When Tarun and Ileana land in Hyderabad, they fool Dharmavarapu subramanyam who is an owner of a famous electronic showroom and succeed in fetching some goods worth 10 lakhs and make a run with them.Tarun to full fill Ileana’s dreams compels her to make herself enroll in a Mumbai advertising agency. But the heroine has another plan and wants to stay with Tarun.Meanwhile, they see an AD in a newspaper that a poor girl needs some medical held and needs money for the treatment. This girl happens to be the same one whom the two met in the journey to Hyderabad. So, Ileana and Tarun decide to help the child and offer 3 lakhs for her treatment initially. But still a deficit of 6 lakhs haunts them. Then the entry of the villain in the disguise of Pradeep Rawat takes place. He is the actual owner of the electronic showroom which was robbed by Tarun and Ileana. He is after the couple and the couple runs away from him. Then comes the entry of DCP Yugandhar which is the character played by Jagapathi Babu. And he is the man who is appointed to hunt for the pair of Romeo and Juliet. The rest of the story is about the chase and blah bah and blah. All ends happily at the end.
Performances
Tarun as usual gave his 100% for this movie. He played the character of Ram –Romeo perfectly.Ileana does her job very perfectly. But still she has to improve in the department of dialogue delivery coupled with expressions. Her costumes and skin show are average.Jagapathi babu plays the character of the police office very well. His body seems to be well toned to match the body of a police officer.Pradeep rawat’s character as a villain is well carved. But still Pradeep must improve his dialogue delivery. Especially in some angry scenes.Charmy, the item girl of this film is perfect for the small role. Her boobs seem to be juicy and her thighs are relishing in the revealing costumes. On the whole with a heavy bosom and perfect shaped hips & thighs make her too hot.
The comedy track is well managed by Brahmanandham, Ms Narayana, and sunil and Venu Madhav. The first half of the movie seems to be well portrayed. But the second half looks little but dragging. On the whole the movie is worth watching once. From the respite of summer and due to the air conditioning of theaters, this film is sure to draw the mass crowds more.Coming to its fate, if this movie can make it to 50 days it is applaud able

Parugu

Banner: Sri Venkateshwara Creations
Cast: Allu Arjun, Prakash Raj, Sheela, Jayasudha, Poonam Bhajwa, Sunil and others
Direction: Bhasker
Music: Mani Sharma
Producer: ‘Dil’ Raju
PARUGU fails to live to its expectations. Its dull story line and a dragging screen play make it even more sagging. But after watching the film one can easily conclude that this film’s story depicts the recent elopement case of Srija and Sirish and the totally agony which the megastar and his family faced during and after the whole elopement drama. Adding to it a few comedy scenes and songs is the whole story of PARUGU. Bhasker succeeded in bringing in the shades of his previous ‘Bommarillu’, but except that nothing new is tried in this film. It is a sentiment filled film of a father and a daughter.
Story
The story begins with a scene which depicts Neelakanta (Prakash Raj) as a big land lord in a village. He is jolted by the news when he hears that his darling elder daughter Subba Lakshmi (Poonam Bhajwa) has eloped with her lover just few minutes before her marriage takes place.
So Neelakanta enquires and zeroes in all the friends of his daughter who are involved in the elopement and tries to figure them out. One among them is Krishna (Allu Arjun). Neelakanta locks them up and warns them that they are going to be free when he finds his eloped daughter and her lover. Meanwhile Krishna falls in love with the second daughter Meena (Sheela) of Neelakanta though Meena is a little bit reluctant in the beginning, but latter falls for the hero and soon they both fall in neck deep love. The whole love blossoming happens right in the house of Neelakanta, but he is ignorant about this.Krishna decides to go for a wild goose chase to trace Subbalakshmi along with his tappori friends which are the characters played by Sunil, Chitram Seenu and others. Meena is then enlightened by the fact that it was Krishna who helped her elder sister to elope with her lover and marry him. Neelakanta finally traces her, but she pleads her father to stop chasing her and her hubby.
Neelakanta goes back to his village and decide3s to perform his younger daughter’s marriage on a grand note, so that all the villagers will forget his elder daughter’s elopement drama.
Then enters the hero Krishna and his friends. What happens next? Will Krishna win the heart of Neelakanta (Prakash Raj) and will he succeed in marrying his beloved Meena is the conclusion which must be seen on the silver screen. But all ends well finally on a happy note.
Performances
Allu Arjun as a son of Jayasudha does his role with ease. Once again his dancing talent is a highlight in this movie. His dialogues and his expressions are some what realistic. Sheela is just like a Dumbo. Like a village belly, she is just seen in some scenes. Prakash Raj has once again proved that he is a versatile actor. Previously as a father to his loving daughter in ‘Nuvve Nuvve’ he stole the hearts of many audiences by acting superbly as a caring father. Now in the film the same care, love, sentiment is shown in every scene he acts. He perfectly blends into the skin of the character of a father with tow grown up daughters. The comedy bandwagon with Sunil at the foremost is average.
Music by Mani sharma is average, but if the songs could have been better, the film would have had a 50 day run.
The director Bhasker on the whole tries to bottle an old wine in a new bottle. But his hard work this time goes in vain.
This film is entirely focused on Chiranjeevi’s family. Till date the elopement case of his daughter Srija was justified by the public and even some even went against Chiranjeevi as he did not support his daughter’s love which is total contrary to the film subjects he has dealt with till date. But this film tries to make Chiranjeevi’s family and his deeds positive and totally focuses on the agony, he and his family faced by the society during the entire elopement drama which took place in last October.Allu Arjun’s presence in the movie is more supporting to the fact that the entire Megastar’s family was against the elopement drama of Srija, but has been depicted in a positive way.
May be this film’s release is prior to the Chiranjeevi’s entry into politics and tries to justify Megastar’s deeds in the case of his daughter’s elopement. This is clearly visible in every frame of the film and has been portrayed in a well polished manner.
This film will surely be dragged till the 50 day mark by the Megastar and Arjun’s fans. Not more than that.

Positive Points:
NRT Dance in Songs is really very good , you can watch movie just for songs.
Ntr and hansika Lip kisses are shown 2 times in film.
Comedy in First part is good.
UnExpected twists in second half will surprise telugu people who dont watch bollywood /hollywood movies.
2 songs are highlite and remaining are avg.
Negative Points:
Kantri is combination of 4-5 movies together. Almost all movie including jokes are taken from some or the other movie.( Pokiri , Munna, (bluffmaster-hindi) and hollywood movies.)
NTR too thin in movie and looks kid in big action scenes. Most of action part is same as pokiri.
Tanisha is wasted in movie no proper role in movie , atleast no much skin show.

Review :
Finally the much awaited KANTRI is released and as evident from the promos the film is filled with action packed sequences and the usual songs and dances. This film cannot be termed as a family entertainer as it has nothing for the whole family to sit in the theatres and watch. Still hase something for fans and masses.
The film begins with the frame in which Mukesh Rushi is depicted as a rich landlord. He is blessed with a son who returns from US after completing his studies and decides to establish a sugar factory in a village. He has a thought that, by his factory the employment crisis in the village can be ended and the families in the village can have some food to eat. In this process he borrows some money from bank and while returning to his home meets his death through his trusted family follower Potha Raju (Prakash Raj).Prakash Raj Kills the son of Mukesh with the help of his friend Ashish Vidyarthi and runs away with the money. However he leaves his new born son and wife in the village and leaves them to their fate.
The scene rolls and then the entry of the hero take place. Kranthi alias Kantri is an orphan who lives in an orphanage. Kota Srinivas Rao funds and runs the orphanage and Kantri respects Kota as a god. There is another orphan in the orphanage whom the hero takes special care and treats him as his own brother.
Meanwhile Kranthi joins falls in love with Varalakshmi played by Hansika Motwani and tries to befriend her and follows her everywhere she goes. Then to earn something he joins the gang of Ashish Vidyarthi who is a co partner of Prakash Raj in his evil acts. There Kranthi changes his name to KANTRI.NTR soon attracts Ashish with his action acts and is sent to Hong Kong to assist Prakash Raj. Prakash Raj works as a underworld don of a mafia gang which is involved in circulating fake currency notes, drugs, ammunitions etc and Junior NTR assists Prakash Raj in taking revenge on his professional rival Mukul .meanwhile due to some incidents Prakash Raj learns that KANTRI is his deserted son who he left some time ago.Now the big break comes as an interval. Some audience feels that this was a much needed break from a large dose of action.
After the interval the scene opens and Kantri learns that he is the son of Prakash Raj who is an evil master of a mafia kingdom. But he denies the relationship as he remembers the agony he and his mother faced in his childhood when his father Prakash Raj deserted them.
Then the twist in the story takes place. The hero goes against all the villains. The reason for turning against all the villains including his own father is a suspense which must be watched on the silver screen. What happens next? Is a thrilling climax.Performances
Junior NTR once again proved that he is a full fledged actor and also can be termed as a number one dancer in south Indian films. His new slimmed avatar looks pretty good and his dancing steps are apt to his slim figure. The action sequences performed by him are very well done and yes one can say that he is a hardworking and a dedicated born actor.Hansika Sizzles on the silver screen with her charm. Her revealing dress adds the glamour quotient and is a perfect match as a glam doll. Tanisha though has done a small role as the daughter of Ashish Vidyarthi has made her mark in the film. She has done a little bit of extra exposing in this film then usual.
Prakash Raj once again is the show stealer. He has proved once again that his acting is truly flawless and deserves a true appraisal. His get up tickles the audience as she depicts the yesteryear bollywood actor Rajesh khanna. The rest of the villain batch i.e. Sayaji, Ashish and Mukul acted well according to their characters. But the films seem overloaded with the pack of villains in some scenes.
The music by Mani Sharma is a highlight of the film and it seems like he has composed the music aptly for the junior’s dancing steps. The highlight of the film is when the hero Junior NTR enters the films frame on a cycle which is a party symbol of TDP. Some dialogues like praising his grandfather NTR seems to be supporting the present TDP party. And a dialogue of his which recites “Taggindhi Naa Body weight maatrame, Naa Head weight Kadhu” makes the audience in the theatre tickle for some time.
On the whole this film is a family entertainer and can be watched with the family even though some high content action and skin show from the heroines. But for the fans of Junior NTR this will be a sure hit.

Bujjikadu

Bujjigadu- Made In ChennaiCast: Prabhas, Trisha, Mohan Babu, Kota Srinivas Rao, Prakash Raj, Sanjana, Ali, Sunil and others.Music: Sandeep ChowtaDirection: Puri JagannathProducer: KS Rama Rao
Puri Jagannath comes up with another action flick after his POKIRI, DESAMUDURU & CHIRUTHA. This film is a mass film with all the ingredients of action, love, sentiment and skin show. According to the body language of Prabhas this film suits him well and the story has been neatly carved around his action image.
Story
Bujjigadu (Prabhas) and Chitti (Trisha) become friends from neighbors. Over a petty issue which can also be termed as a silly issue, Chitti gets angry with Bujji and tells him that she will not speak to him till 12 years. However Bujji tries to persuade Chitti to take back her words and again talk to him. But Chitti is adamant on her punishment and lives up to it. But Bujjigadu unable to resist speaking to his best friend Chitti decides to run away and migrates to Chennai from his home town Vishakapatnam.
For 12 years Bujji grows in Chennai as a die hard fan of Superstar Rajnikanth. Then when he comes to know that 12 years have passed by, he returns to his hometown in Vishakaatnam only to know the fact that Chitti along with her family has vacated the place as soon as he left for Chennai in his childhood.
Meanwhile, Bujji in search of work comes into the vicinity of Kota Srinivas Rao and his sons. They are the mafia gangsters and Kota is the mafia leader. They hatch a plan to kill their rival Sivanna and appoint Bujji to full fill the job of killing Sivanna. Initially Bujjigadu resists, but is lured by a sum of 1 crore rupees which is offered by Kota and his sons if Bujji succeeds in killing their mafia Rival Sivanna.
Accepting the offer Bujjigadu starts for Hyderabad to kill Sivanna. Bujjigadu also comes to know that his childhood best friend Chitti is also in Hyderabad. So for succeeding in fulfilling both his desires Bujji lands in Hyderabad. In an attempt to kill Sivanna, Bujji hurts himself very badly by the followers of Sivanna. Sivanna gets bowled over by the guts of Bujji and invites him to his house.
There Bujji learns that Chitti is a sister to Sivanna and gets treated in the house of Sivanna for quite sometime. Incidentally Sivanna learns that Bujji is a child hood friend of Chitti from his hometown Vishakapatnam.
Sivanna requests Bujji that his sister must not know his identity as she hates people who are violent in the society and who are evil in the society. Bujji accepts to do so.
The rest of the story is a thrilling climax, but all ends well and Prabhas meets his friend turned lover at the end.Performances
Prabhas consecutively according to his body language act as a mass cum action hero in this movie. The action scenes are shot well and Prabhas looks apt for the scenes and the punching dialogues.
Trisha looks good in modern clothes and her sexy revealing costumes which show u s something extra than usual. Sanjana who made her debut in Telugu with this film has shown some of her secret parts liberally. She is only a glam doll in the film and acts well as a younger sister to Trisha.
Sivanna which is a character played by Dr. Mohan Babu is a highlight in this film. One can say that he is a highlight and the screen charmer in this film. His mannerisms and his punch filled dialogues are filled with entertainment. He acts well as a dreaded criminal in one scene and as a caring brother in another screen. This acting combination is a superb combination of Mohan Babu’s multi talents and he suits the villain’s role perfectly.
The rest of the characters played by Ali, Kota, Ahuthi, Subbaraju, Raja ravindra and Ms support the screen play of the film.
The comedy scenes and the masala dialogues between Prabhas and Trisha bring in some entertainment to class as well mass audience.
Music by Sandeep Chowta is average. But in some choreographic moments the songs look dull as the lyrics are compressed hard to make them fit into the music.
Prabhas and Mumaith Khan’s item song is very well shot.
As usual like a typical Puri Jagan’s film the first half is speedy and interesting. Where as the second half of the movie lacks the punch and looks dull and lengthy.
Prabhas will be satisfied with this movie as it looks as if it is a new life for his drooling film career. But for Puri, this film might not rekindle the blockbuster magic.

Pandurangadu

PANDURANGADU - Just AVG
Balakrishna hits the trumpet of the mythological films with his Pandurangadu. Raghavendra Rao has once again proved that he is a man of mythological era and continues the magic of mythology with his Pandurangadu. He has proved that he the best director in filming the films, which have the divine element in them.
Story
Ranga (Balakrishna) is the spoilt son of the village head, who is the rich Zamindar. The Rich Zamindar’s character is played by versatile director cum actor K Vishwanath. Vishwanath gives his son whatever he wants and spoils him with extra pampering in the house. Ranga who is a careless boy grows up into a charming young man, who is always in the company of ladies. He has the habit to visit Prostitutes and seek their sexual pleasure.
One day Ranga comes into contact with Amritha (Tabu) incidentally. Amritha is a dancer and also a prostitute by profession. With her charm, beauty and oomph she lures Ranga and mesmerizes him with her beauty and makes him a slave to her.Meanwhile, Ranga becomes spell bound to the beauty of Amritha and spends all his time in the company of Amritha.
Vishwanath unable to see his son becoming a slave to the beauty of a Prostitute decides to perform his son’s marriage with a well natured girl. He gets a proposal of Lakshmi’s (Sneha) father. But on hearing the marriage proposal Ranga denies it and starts living with Amritha.
Meanwhile, lakshmi gets a dream of Lord Krishna in which he preaches her to marry Ranga. Under some unusual circumstances Ranga is forced to marry Lakshmi, but neglects her for the beauty and oomph of Amritha.
Under delicate circumstances Ranga even forces his parents along with his wife to make them leave the house. Meanwhile Amritha‘s serves some poisonous food to Ranga in order to steal his wealth, but fails at last. However, Ranga comes in contact with a Muni (Mohan Babu). Ranga changes his path and opens his eyes towards devotion. He then switches over as a family man and totally devotes his time and life in the service of Lord Krishna.
Performances
Balakrishna as usual gives his 100% to this movie. His dual role as lord Krishna and as a common man is applauding and appraisable. His dialogue delivery and acting expressions make us remember his father late NTR. He acts well as a man who is driven towards the beauty of sex and after that, acts well as a man who wants to shrug off his sins and becomes a strong devotee. Balakrishna’s get up ignites a thought that he suits well for the devotional characters as well as for the factionist characters.
Sneha plays a role of a homely girl. She plays the character as the wife of Balaya with ease and gives a convincing performance.
Tabu once again proves her mettle and plays the role of a Prostitute with ease. In some scenes when she mimics the role of a prostitute, she looks well adapted to the role and also looks hot with a sexy and ravishing body. Her costumes are also designed apt to her character.
K. Vishwanth does his job very well. As usual, his role as a father of a spoilt son is well acted and leaves his own mark in this film.
Mohan Babu in a role of a Muni acts well. His role is brief, but is a vital part in twisting the film story line.
LB Sriram plays the character of Narada. His character is well weaved and also manages to bring some tickles in the audience mind. Sunil’s comedy fails to ignite. The songs and the background music is well carved by Mm Keeravani. They meet the devotion component of the film very well and also try to bring out some extra life.Coming to the direction part, Raghavendra Rao tries to press a lot of meaning into the story, but due to the slow pace of the movie, dullness appears in some frames. The other important element which could have been made even better was the dialogues. The dialogues tend to be not up to the mark in the devotional film. But this film is surely not for youth.
Coming to the truth, this film will only run for a few days in some theatres and may just complete its 50 day run. Annamayya which was released almost 10 years ago had an element to attract the youth in it. It has some freshness in the movie. But this movie lacks that luster. Some of the scenes may have been planned to attract the mass crowds like the song of Tabu and Balaya. But it fails to recreate the magic and may also loose the mass audience. The film SANGAMAM comes as a soothing refresher and this credit is given to Rasool the director. He has carved the subject with well maturity and also has sprinkled Romance, comedy, sentiment to take it an above average film. Nowadays being labeled as an above average movie with no noted leading star cast is a more than million for a Telugu film. This film is well portrayed as a family entertainer and succeeds in gaining the said confidence.
Story
The first frame in the movie depicts the greenery and the sanctity of our villages. Samskruthi (Sindhura) is a darling daughter of Raghava Rao who is the village head in profession. He owns some lands properties and is well respected in the whole village. The daughter and father share a special rapport of two friends and the relationship is also closely knitted that Sindhura calls her father by his name.
Samskruthi is a well versed dancer and a good singer. She is a girl with multi talents. Meanwhile her father Raghava Rao is a well respected village head who gains confidence and trustworthiness of his village populace by doing good deeds. But he hates the word America. The reason for his hatred when he hears the word America is because of his brother Jagadish (Murali Mohan).
Jagadish leaves his elder brother in the village and settles in America. From then on his contact is lost with Raghava Rao and so this is the reason for Raghava Rao’s hatred. He feels that his brother betrayed him by convincing him to stay with him and then latter settling in USA without his consent.
Meanwhile, Samskruthi meets with an unfortunate accident and the doctors diagnose that she is suffering from Cardiac Myopia which can only be treated in USA. They suggest the same to Raghava rao. But the old man is hesitant to send his daughter to USA
But some how he is convinced by his daughter and Dr. Geetha (Suhasini) and Raghava Rao takes a promise from his daughter that she will never meet her uncle who is residing in USA.
However, the whole story is narrated to Jagadish by his close friends who reside in the village. Jagadish hatches a plan and incidentally makes Samskruthi meet his daughter Sneha (Sarah).
In the process Samskruthi also meets the hero Abhiram (Rohit) who falls in love with Samskruthi at the very first sight of her.
Abhiram one day proposes his love to Samskruthi and they two fall in love. Meanwhile Samskruthi learns that there was a misunderstanding between her father and Jagadish and so discovers that the uncle who is helping her is her paternal uncle.
The rest of the story is a suspense which has to be watched on big screen. The suspense element is the surgery, Abhiram’s love and the how the two families unite?
Performances
Sindhura has acted well as a village girl and her dialogue delivery and expressions are apt. Her curvy structure is shown through her dresses and the director has made a point that the female lead is never filmed vulgarly through out the film.
Rohit is cool, but his face and expressions lacks some luster. His facial features are not so catchy among the girls. Sometime he tries to mimic hero Siddharth.
Murali Mohan, Suhasini, Brahmanandham have played their roles well. The total star cast is well apt for the story.
The music looks soothing, but may be it lacked the punching lines in it. The direction was superb and the creativity of the director Rasool was evident in each and every frame of the film. The costumes were well suited to Sindhura.
On the whole this film may run for 4-5 weeks and since it is lacking big star cast in the lead it may become extinct in theaters after 4th week.

Nowadays, the comedy films are lacking the pace and substance in them and so are hitting the deck with a average or not so impressive performance levels.. Since the comedy films are lacking the comedy track they are meeting ill fate at the box office. But inspite of this, a lot was expected from the Guinness book record holding Comedian, Brahmanandham. But this time he totally fails to impress with his film Brahmanandham and Company.
Story
Brahmanandham claims to be the owner of a prestigious drama company. He has two young assistants, which are the characters played by Shivaji and Ravi Krishna. These two actors play as heroes in his dance troop.
One day the two assistants fall for the heroine in their company and that too when there is only one month time left for a show in Bangkok. Unable to bear the torture the heroine evades them and leaves the drama company.
The search for the suitable heroine is kept on the shoulders of Shivaji and Ravi Krishna. Suddenly in a surprising incident, Kamalinee comes in contact with them. She tries to commit suicide and the two heroes save her. They also convince her to play the heroine role in the drama company. She does the same and the show becomes a super hit.
But still Kamalinee tries for another suicide attempt, just after the show. The reason for her suicide attempt is kept as suspense. Meanwhile the two heroes Shivaji and Ravi Krishna are caught by the police with a brief case which contains drugs in it.
They somehow escape from the clutches of the police .The rest of the story is how the two get rid of the smuggling case and the reason for Kamalinee’s suicide attempt. This forms the climax which is suspense till the end.
Performance
Brahmanandham does his usual performance and tries to figure out some comedy from his dialogues. The scene in the mall where he comes in contact with Jeeva is hilarious.
Shivaji acts well, but the other hero Ravi has to learn a lot and specially his dialogue delivery need to improve.
Kamalinee acts as a glam doll and her acting skills are also well exposed.
The rest of the characters like Shivaji Raja, Raghu Babu, Ali, AVS, and Dharamavarapu do their jobs well, but fail to ignite some comedy.
The music is dry and the script is also not so convincing. The whole story has been scraped from the bollywood comedy blockbuster ‘Bhagam Bhag which had Akshay Kumar, Paresh rawal in the lead. But this Telugu film is miles away in achieving the results which the original track achieved.
On the whole there is nothing attractive in this film and the comedy element lacks the luster in it. This movie is surely not going to run for more than 2 weeks.

Ullasamga Utsahamga

Ullasamga Utsahamga movie review
Cast: Yasho Sagar, Sneha Ullal, Chandramohan, Brahmanandham, Kavitha, Sunil, Sudharani, Suman Shetty, Venu Madhav and others.
Music: Gv Prakash Kumar
Direction: Karunakaran
Producers: BC Somu, GS Ranganath
Ullasamga Utsahamga Movie Stills
Ullasamga Utsahamga is a movie with all the ingredients fairly mixed. But the conclusion of the story line neither can be categorized as a romantic entertainer or just a family entertainer. The first half is well mixed with Romance in the subject to make a youthful entertainer. The film turns seriously tangled into a sacrificial script in the second half.

Story
Dhanalakshmi (Sneha Ullal) is the gorgeous daughter of the rich village head who is assigned the post of the village Zamindari. As usual Dhanalakshmi is unlucky to grow up in the hands of her mother as her own mother dies when she is in her childhood and so her father marries Kavitha. So as expected, the stepmother spreads her evil pangs over the head of Dhanalakshmi. The reason for this is because the whole Zamindari property worth 50 Cr is registered on the name of Dhanalakshmi before her father (Sneha’s Father) dies. As a second wife Kavitha gets only a paltry share of 50 lacs. For this reason Kavitha pesters her step child and holds her in her control.
Meanwhile, to ignite the love flame in the film Dhanalakshmi has a childhood friend named Balaji? But unfortunately Balaji’s father gets transferred and so Balaji leaves Dhanalaksmi and leaves to an undisclosed destination. When Dhanalakshmi grows up, she dreams about Balaji and then learns that she is in love with him.
Meanwhile, Kavitha plans to marry her step daughter to an innocent boy of her choice in order to take the hold of the entire property. Knowing this Dhanalakshmi leaves her home and runs away.
Dhanalaksmi migrates to her friend who resides in the city. Incidentally she meets the hero Aravind (Yasho Sagar). Aravind is a go free attitude dude who never cares or worries about anything. He is pampered by his father Chandramohan and Sudha in such a way that he never thinks about his future.
Aravind falls in love with Dhana, but Dhanalaksmi unable to forget her childhood friend and so reciprocates Aravind’s love. Aravind learns the truth and then helps Dhanalaksmi to trace her childhood friend turned lover. But a twist takes place then and finally Aravind wins his beloved back.
Performances
Yasho sagar does the role of an innocent youth in a sincere manner. His dialogue delivery and body language is well suited and never makes the audience that he is just a debutant.
Sneha Ullal does an impressive performance in a convincing way. She looks hot in some scenes. Her traditional costumes and salwar Kameez well suit her character. Sneha looks awesome in ultra glam doll scenes which are depicted in the songs.
Kavitha as a stepmother does her role with ease. Though her role is challenging, with all the experience in the industry Kavitha gives her 100% to the role.
The comedy track lead by Brahmanandham is little bit pale and dry. Some comedy scenes do churn out the tickles in the audience.
The music is well deservingly appraisable. The scenic locales will be apt for the tunes and the cinematography must be applauded for this. Most of the scenic locales are handled in and around the greenery of Karnataka.
The direction is average, but the dull script is well lifted with some innovative ideas from the wits of the director.
On the whole, since this movie is a petite starrer movie it may run on the whole up to 40 days. But sincerely this movie can be tagged as a family entertainer as the ingredients of Romance, sentiment, sacrifice are well mixed and presented. This movie is already declared as a musical entertainer as the music seems to be soothing to the ears.

Jagapathi has given a decent performance and his acting skills are well exploited by the director.

Sidhu from sikakulam

Siddu from Sikakulam Review
Cast: Naresh, Manjari Padhnis, Shraddha das, Venu Madhav, L.B Sriram, Jayaprakash Reddy, Ahuti Prasad, Chandramohan, Dharmavarapu, Krishna Bhagwan, and others.
Music: KM Radhakrishnan
Director: Eshwar
Producer: MallaVijay Prasad
As expected the film revolves around Naresh and his so called love story, but is narrated in a different way. The comedy touch to the film is well garnished to make it a pleasantry film and the romance and sentiment are sprinkled on it. The glam doll Manjari is well depicted in the film and Shraddha Das is like a breezer to the mass audience.
Story
The film starts with the gimmicks of hero Siddharth (Naresh) who tries to impress the heroine Sailaja (Manjari). Siddu falls in love on the first sight of the heroine and so is always busy planning the next trick to astonish the heroine in every possible way.
At last impressed by his innocent tricks and charms, Sailaja falls in love with Siddu. But unfortunately Sailaja’s father is a factionist by nature which is the character played by Jayaprakash Reddy. His character name is Obul Reddy. He to conquer the whole faction region in Kurnool joins hands with another long time rival and in returns promises to marry his daughter Sailaja to the other factionists’ son. The other factionist’s character name is Bhooma Reddy (Ganga Raju).
Siddu discovers the truth that his beloved Sailaja is a daughter of a dreaded factionist and back off from his love in order to save his family and their lives.
Sailaja on knowing this, challenges with Naresh that, if he accompanies her to her village and stays in their house till the marriage ceremony is completed then she will forget him forever. She also challenges that he cannot suppress his love towards her and will definitely obstruct the marriage.
Siddu aggress to the condition and makes a move to Sailaja’s hometown. There he is seduced by another hot beauty Nisha (Sharddha Das).
The rest of the story is about Naresh going to the home town of Sailaja and how he wins back his love. Sharddha Das in the meantime, falls in love with Naresh.
What happens next is a suspense which must be watched on the big silver screen
Performances
Naresh does his job pretty well. He is getting day by day labeled as a versatile artist of tollywood. His role to be serious through out the film makes the audience laugh to a major extent.
Manjari’ plays her role of Sailaja very well. She looks pretty in salwar suits and also as a eye candy in glam doll costumes.
Shraddha Das is limited as a glam doll in a brief role. Her costumes in this film are hot and sizzling. Adding to this her well bosom and thighs make the mass audience drool over her beauty.
The comedy Track is lead by Dharmavarapu and Ms Narayana with the support of Venu Madhav.
Jayaprakash reddy plays his character role of Obul Reddy very well. He is almost a fixed artist for all factionist roles in tollywood.
The dialect in which the title is pronounced matches accordingly with the dialect of Amalapuram, bheemavaram and all norths Andhra districts.
The music in the film is above average, but lacks some catchy tunes. The direction department is average and the script of the film is predictable and slowly paced. The director must have concentrated on the script more than the characters.
On the whole the movie will run for only 3 weeks time. And more than that will depend on the external aspects such as EVV and his prevalence.
